These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ClipAgent, including the macOS application, website at clip-agent.com, and the ClipAgent API (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
ClipAgent is an AI-powered tool that helps content creators turn long-form YouTube videos into short-form clips for platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. The Service includes automated transcription, AI-driven viral moment detection, caption styling, brand overlay, multi-platform publishing, smart scheduling, and batch processing.
You must be at least 18 years old to use ClipAgent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Certain features require a ClipAgent account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at asifkabirantu@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
ClipAgent offers the following plans:
Recurring subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us if you have concerns.
The ClipAgent API is available on a pay-as-you-go credit basis. Credits are purchased in advance and consumed per API request. API access is subject to rate limits and fair-use policies. You must not share your API key or use it to build a competing service. Full API pricing and documentation are available at clip-agent.com/api and clip-agent.com/docs.
You are solely responsible for the content you process through ClipAgent. You represent that:
ClipAgent does not claim ownership of your content. We do not monitor, review, or endorse content processed through the Service.
ClipAgent uses AI to detect viral moments, generate clip titles, descriptions, and captions. AI output is provided as-is and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before publishing.
ClipAgent, its logo, design, and underlying technology are the property of ClipAgent and its creator. You may not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the software. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
ClipAgent integrates with third-party services including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Stripe, and Supabase. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms. ClipAgent is not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.
ClipAgent processes video data locally on your Mac whenever possible. Account data, subscription status, and API credentials are stored securely via Supabase. We do not sell your personal information. For API usage, video data is processed on secure cloud infrastructure and is not retained after processing is complete.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI analysis will produce optimal results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipAgent and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or the Service. You may stop using ClipAgent at any time by uninstalling the app and cancelling your subscription.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website or the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
